Keeseh consists of like-minded individuals who share similar outlooks on design and its context, helping one another realize new and innovative ideas. The studio offers a community for designer, inventors, artists, craftsman, tinkerers, and makers.
Studio members are ambitious and full of ideas. The designs are surprising and fresh, yet timeless and inspired by the continuing search for new combinations of materials, forms, and production methods. Keeseh seeks to add value through creativity, aligning itself with its clients’ needs, delivering top quality professional services that meet schedules and cost objectives.
Keeseh designs furniture, interiors, products, and gadgets, both of its own initiative and through commissions. Commissions come from the business community, the furniture and product industry, and from private persons. The ability to collaborate extends beyond the studio walls to embrace the clients, vendors, and surrounding community.

ASHER DUNN
Asher Dunn has a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, where he developed a love for woodworking, furniture design, and interior solutions. Asher was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where his passion for designing and working with his hands was noticeable at a young age. His parents recall him dismantling the ventilation system in their home with his Sesame Street screwdriver set. Asher founded Keeseh Studio in 2008 and the brand Studio Dunn in 2010.

NICK HOLCOMB
Born and raised in Rhode Island, Nick’s love of art and music intersected while he studied Sculpture at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD BFA Sculpture 08′). Drawing from multiple disciplines from printmaking to wood working to graphic illustration, Interdisciplanary practices fuel the passion for his work. Nick uses traditional and experimental woodworking techniques to create guitars that entice musicians to play them and are built to keep the players playing.

SHANE RICHARDS
Shane Richards received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Furniture Design from Rhode Island School of Design in May of 2008. He grew up in the small town of Hampden, Massachusetts where he was exposed to a wide variety of craft and trade. After five years of producing custom architectural woodwork, Shane enrolled at RISD to further pursue his passion for furniture. Exploration of form and materials in harmony with craft and function has been key in the development of Shane’s design theory. Working from Keeseh Studio in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Shane continues to produce custom furniture that combines his contemporary aesthetic with a tradition of craftsmanship.

JAMISON SELLERS
Jamison Sellers graduated in 2009 from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Furniture Design. A focus in human ecology and environmental studies helped define his interest in sustainable design and recycled materials. MARK NICHOLSON
Mark Nicholson, an original member and friend of Keeseh, passed away on Thursday, June 11th, 2009. Mark received his BFA with Honors from Alfred University in 2001 and his Masters in Fine Arts in Furniture Design in 2008. Mark always looked for new materials, combinations and designs. He produced innovative and beautiful furniture pieces. Mark also worked on bicycles – building, altering, repairing, and riding. An avid cyclist, Mark was once the number one category three road cyclist in the nation during 2005. Mark touched many people’s hearts and is fondly remembered and missed.
